In Saturday's non-league bout, the Labette County Grizzlies (Altamont, KS) volleyball team held off the visiting Prairie View Buffalos (La Cygne, KS), by a margin of 2-1.
The Grizzlies now possess a 10-22 record. They play next when they host Burlington for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. Labette County will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Wellsville (Wellsville, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 24-5.
Next, the Buffalos battle the Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 11. Prairie View will attempt to move on its 5-22 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 6-21 record after their 2-0 league loss to Wellsville (Wellsville, KS).
