The Walnut Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Laguna Hills Hawks to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 17-16 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league game on Saturday, October 11. Walnut will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to University City (San Diego, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 10-10.

The Hawks (5-15) will now prepare for their game against Tustin (Tustin, CA). The Tillers go into the Empire game with a 11-20 record.
