The Valley Christian Trojans edged the host Lake Stevens Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ) in a 3A - Central game, on Tuesday, October 14. Valley Christian will attempt to advance on its 25-10 season record. The Gophers go into the game with a 22-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Show Low (Show Low, AZ).
The Vikings (17-2) will now prepare for their game against Jackson (Mill Creek, WA). The Timberwolves go into the 2A/3A/4A Wesco game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Jackson nudged Cascade (Everett, WA), 3-1, in a league game.
