Michigan High School Volleyball - South Christian over Lakewood

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting South Christian Sailors volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Lakewood Vikings.

With the win, South Christian improves its record to 19-8 on the season. The Sailors travel to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 20-7. Traverse City Central won 3-0 in their recent league test against Gaylord (Gaylord, MI)

The Vikings now have a 17-14 record. They play next when they host Ionia for a Capital Area - White challenge on Tuesday, October 14. Lakewood will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 29-4.
