New Mexico High School Volleyball - St. Pius X over Los Alamos

St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Pius X improves its record to 12-3 on the season. The Sartans travel to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to face the Jaguars in a 4A District 5 test on Tuesday, October 14. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Valencia won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM)
Next, the Hilltoppers meet the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Los Alamos will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM).
