The Lower Brule Sioux volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Takini Skyhawks to 0 in the Sioux non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Sioux now have a 10-13 record. They play next when they travel to St. Francis Indian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 14. Lower Brule will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Takini (Howes, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 8-18.
The Skyhawks (4-13) will now prepare for their game against Wakpala (Wakpala, SD). The Sioux go into the non-league game with a 5-15 record. In their last game, Wakpala was dropped by North Central (Eureka, SD), 3-0, in a league game.
