In Saturday's non-league match, the Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Winfield Vikings (Winfield, KS), by a margin of 2-1.

The Lions now possess a 5-23 record. They play next when they host North for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. Lyons will clash with a RedHawks team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS). The RedHawks record now stands at 13-14.
