The St. Thomas More Cougars volleyball squad (Lafayette, LA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA)

With the win, Mandeville improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Skippers host Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA) to encounter the Green Wave in a Division I District 6 battle on Tuesday, October 14. The Green Wave go into the battle with a record of 15-9. Ponchatoula lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA)

The Cougars now own a 25-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ascension Episcopal for a non-league battle on Monday, October 13. St. Thomas More will battle a team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA). The record now stands at 17-6.
