Kansas High School Volleyball - Marquette can't get by Mill Valley

Mill Valley Jaguars (Shawnee, KS) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mill Valley improves its record to 25-4 on the season. The Jaguars host Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, KS) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 24-3. Blue Valley Southwest lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Saint Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, KS)

Next, the Mustangs meet the Blue Valley West Jaguars (Stilwell, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Marquette will attempt to upgrade on its 15-14 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 23-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS).
