The Marquez Gladiators volleyball squad (Huntington Park, CA), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Sherman Oaks CES Knights (Reseda, CA)

The Knights (16-3) will now prepare for their test against Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 16-11 record. In their last test, Sylmar was defeated by Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Gladiators now own a 11-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to Triumph Charter for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. Marquez will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Valley Oaks CES (Sun Valley, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 21-3.
