Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Plano Reapers (Plano, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mercer County improves its record to 15-15 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Princeton (Princeton, IL) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 14-13. Princeton won 2-1 in their recent league test against Hall (Spring Valley, IL)

The Reapers now own a 10-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byron for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Plano will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 12-7.
