Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN) and the visiting Minneota Vikings (Minneota, MN), observed New Prague's volleyball team hold off Minneota by a tally of 2-1.

The Trojans (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Moorhead was tipped by Hawley (Hawley, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 20-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeville North for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Minneota will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Eagan (Eagan, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 15-5.
