The Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK) volleyball held off the host Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wolves now possess a 18-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bartlett for a non-league match on Saturday, October 11. Sitka will battle a Golden Bears squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Kenai Central (Kenai, AK). The Golden Bears record now stands at 7-24.
The Lions (14-15) will now prepare for their match against Colony (Palmer, AK). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 19-11 record. In their last match, Colony was tipped by Valdez (Valdez, AK), 1-0, in a non-league match.
