With the win, Valdez improves its record to 34-7 on the year.

In their next game, the Lions face the Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 11. Mountain City Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 14-14 season record. The Grizzlies go into the test with a 13-16 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK).
