The Mt. Zion Braves volleyball squad (Mt. Zion, IL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL)

With the win, Tri-Valley improves its record to 20-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL) to encounter the Railsplitters in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. The Railsplitters enter the challenge with a record of 10-11. Lincoln lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL)

Next, the Braves meet the Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Mt. Zion will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 2-1 league loss to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL).
