West Virginia High School Volleyball - Musselman can't hold off Porter-Gaud

October 11, 2025: Inwood, WV 25428

In Saturday's non-league match, the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) volleyball squad tipped the host Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Cyclones battle the River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 11. Porter-Gaud will attempt to move on its 21-16 season record. The Gators enter the match with a 22-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Chapin (Chapin, SC).

The Applemen (20-11) will now prepare for their match against Ashley Hall (Charleston, SC). The Panthers come into the non-league bout with a 7-10 record. In their last bout, Ashley Hall nipped Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC), 3-2, in a league bout.
