The Whittier Cardinals volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Nordhoff Rangers to 0 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now have a 9-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tustin for a non-league game on Saturday, October 11. Whittier will face a Tillers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Costa Mesa (Costa Mesa, CA). The Tillers record now stands at 10-16.

The Rangers (14-9) will now prepare for their game against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA). The Flashes go into the Citrus Coast game with a 3-8 record.
