In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Roeper Roughriders volleyball team scored a close 1-0 victory over the Walled Lake Central Vikings.
The Roughriders (3-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Genesee Christian (Burton, MI). The Soldiers enter the non-league challenge with a 11-10 record. In their last challenge, Genesee Christian got by More Academy (Burton, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 11. Walled Lake Central will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Soldiers go into the test with a 11-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over More Academy (Burton, MI).
