Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN) and the visiting Totino-Grace Eagles (Fridley, MN), observed St. Croix Prep's volleyball team top Totino-Grace by a count of 2-0.

The Lions (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Concordia Academy (Roseville, MN). The Beacons enter the Skyline contest with a 9-13 record. In their last battle, Concordia Academy was defeated by Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now own a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Anthony Village for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. Totino-Grace will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 6-11.
