The Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) soccer the visiting Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME), 3-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the victory, Mountain Valley moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Buckfield (Buckfield, ME) to battle the Bucks in a non-league bout on Friday, October 14. The Bucks enter the bout with a record of 6-5. Buckfield won 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Madison, ME)
In their next game, the Phoenix battle the Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) in a Class C - South bout, on Monday, October 17. Spruce Mountain will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
