In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Nichols Vikings soccer squad scored a close 7-1 triumph over the Villa Maria Academy Victors.
The Vikings (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Nardin Academy (Buffalo, NY). The Gators come into the Monsignor Martin battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Nardin Academy nudged St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY), 2-1, in a league battle.
