St. Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) fans went home thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), 2-0 in a league game.

The Panthers now have a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's Ryken for a game on Friday, October 14. St. Paul VI will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league win over Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.

The Cardinals (2-2) will now prepare for their game against St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cadets enter the game with a 13-3 record.
