The Countryside Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lakewood Spartans to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Cougars now have a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, October 13. Countryside will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 league win over Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 20-3.

The Spartans (0-12) will now prepare for their game against Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL). The Gladiators enter the 4A District 11 game with a 0-21 record. In their last game, Gibbs dropped by Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL), 3-0, in a non-league game.
