The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings topped the host Downers Grove South Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Vikings now have a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lockport for a non-league test on Saturday, October 15. Homewood-Flossmoor will confront a Porters team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Porters record now stands at 21-6.
The Mustangs (9-17) will now prepare for their test against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 9-15 record. In their last test, Riverside-Brookfield gained a win over Ridgewood (Norridge, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
