The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the John Henry Wildcats (Richmond, CA) and the host Summit K2 Dragons (El Cerrito, CA), saw John Henry's volleyball squad beat Summit K2 by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, John Henry upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year.

The Dragons now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they host Quarry Lane for a Bay Area Independent Athletic League bout on Friday, October 14. Summit K2 will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Athenian (Danville, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-4.
