The Lawrence Lancers volleyball team (Lawrence, MA), was dropped 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Methuen Rangers (Methuen, MA)

The Rangers (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA). The Lions enter the Merrimack Valley I challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Chelmsford defeated Dracut (Dracut, MA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Lowell Red Raiders (Lowell, MA) in a Merrimack Valley II challenge, on Friday, October 14. Lawrence will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Andover (Andover, MA).
