The Lincoln-Way East Griffins volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves to 0 in the Griffins non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Griffins now have a 25-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Champaign Central for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 12. Lincoln-Way East will meet a Maroons team coming off a 2-1 league win over Normal Community (Normal, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 20-7.

The Red Wolves (7-18) will now prepare for their game against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Celtics enter the non-league game with a 14-13 record. In their last game, Providence Catholic dropped by Fenwick (Oak Park, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
