The ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars volleyball team (Oneida, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL)

The Golden Eagles (13-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 22-6 record. In their last challenge, Sherrard was dropped by Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Wethersfield Flying Geese (Kewanee, IL) in a Lincoln Trail challenge, on Thursday, October 13. ROWVA/Williamsfield will attempt to move on its 17-7 season record. The Flying Geese enter the challenge with a 19-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL).
