The Westwood Cardinals volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Paramus Catholic Paladins to 0 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mahwah for a non-league game on Friday, October 14. Westwood will meet a Thunderbirds team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Academy of the Holy Angels (Demarest, NJ). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-12.

The Paladins (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Academy of the Holy Angels (Demarest, NJ). The Angels enter the Big North - United game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Academy of the Holy Angels gained a win over Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league game.
