The Wethersfield Eagles topped the host Plainville Blue Devils volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Britain for a Central Connecticut - North test on Friday, October 14. Wethersfield will confront a Golden Hurricanes team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hall (West Hartford, CT). The Golden Hurricanes record now stands at 12-2.

The Blue Devils (0-13) will now prepare for their test against Maloney (Meriden, CT). The Spartans enter the Central Connecticut - South test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Maloney was knocked off by Simsbury (Simsbury, CT), 3-0, in a non-league test.
