In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Prince Edward County Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Thomas Jefferson Vikings.
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cougars come into the James River battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Nottoway defeated Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
