The Providence Catholic Celtics topped the host Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Celtics now have a 15-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loyola Academy for a Girls Catholic (GCAC) test on Thursday, October 13. Providence Catholic will confront a Ramblers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Ramblers record now stands at 25-8.

The Red Wolves (7-18) will now prepare for their test against Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL). The Titans enter the South Suburban test with a 14-10 record. In their last test, Tinley Park gained a win over Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
