The Holy Savior Menard Eagles football squad scored 13 points and restricted the visiting Avoyelles Mustangs to 6 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosepine for a 2A District 4 battle on Friday, October 20.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 19. Avoyelles will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Kittens enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 60-0 league win over Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA).
