The Blanchard Lions thwarted the host Classen SAS Comets football team by a count of 40-12 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Blanchard upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Lions host Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK) to encounter the Bobcats in a 4A District 2 outing on Friday, October 20. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Bridge Creek lost 49-3 in their recent league outing against Tuttle (Tuttle, OK)
