The Chickasha Fighting Chicks football team (Chickasha, OK), was beaten 42-18 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Elk City Elks (Elk City, OK)
The Elks (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Weatherford (Weatherford, OK). The Eagles come into the 4A District 1 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Weatherford achieved victory over Cache (Cache, OK), 23-14, in a league challenge.
The Fighting Chicks now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clinton for a 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, October 20. Chickasha will meet a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Guymon (Guymon, OK). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 5-2.
