In Thursday's non-league match, the host Mumford Mustangs football squad scored a close 28-22 victory over the Communication Media Arts Pharaohs.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Catholic Central Shamrocks (Novi, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 20. Mumford will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Shamrocks enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 35-28 non-league win over La Salle (Cincinnati, OH).
The Pharaohs (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Shrine Catholic was nudged by Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI), 56-26, in a league match.
