    The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Inola Longhorns (Inola, OK) and the host Dewey Bulldoggers (Dewey, OK), observed Inola's football squad thwart Dewey by a count of 35-16.

    The Longhorns now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Holland Hall for a 3A District 4 contest on Friday, October 20. Inola will play a Dutch squad coming off a 28-6 league win over Central (Tulsa, OK). The Dutch record now stands at 4-3.

    Coming up next, the Bulldoggers play the Central Braves (Tulsa, OK) in a 3A District 4 contest, on Thursday, October 19. Dewey will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 28-6 league loss to Holland Hall (Tulsa, OK).
