Texas High School Football - Economedes topped by Edinburg

The Economedes Jaguars football team (Edinburg, TX), was beaten 41-16 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Edinburg Bobcats (Edinburg, TX)

The Bobcats (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against La Joya (La Joya, TX). The Coyotes come into the 6A Region IV District 31 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, La Joya was beaten by Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX), 56-7, in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mission for a 6A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, October 20. Economedes will meet a Eagles team coming off a 42-34 league loss to Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
