The Winters Blizzards football team (Winters, TX), was ripped 48-12 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX)

The Bearcats (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Olney (Olney, TX). The Cubs come into the 2A-1 Region I District 4 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Olney was ripped by Anson (Anson, TX), 28-12, in a league challenge.

The Blizzards now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Colorado for a 2A-1 Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, October 20. Winters will meet a Wolves team coming off a 57-0 league loss to Hawley (Hawley, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 1-6.
