North Carolina High School Football - North Gaston nips Huss

October 12, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28052

In Thursday's league match, the visiting North Gaston Wildcats football squad scored a close 21-14 victory over the Huss Huskies.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) in a Big South 3A match, on Friday, October 20. North Gaston will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Storm enter the match with a 0-8 record after their 51-3 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC).

The Huskies (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers enter the Big South 3A match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Crest held off Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 42-7, in a league match.
