The Lordsburg Mavericks (Lordsburg, NM) football routed the host Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM), 42-6 in Thursday's league bout.
In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) in a 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) bout, on Friday, October 20.
