Oklahoma High School Football - Sequoyah gets by Nowata

The Sequoyah Eagles football squad scored 60 points and limited the host Nowata Ironmen to 56 in the Eagles league win on Thursday.

The Eagles now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Pawhuska for a 2A District 8 battle on Friday, October 20. Sequoyah will play a Huskies squad coming off a 44-12 league win over Salina (Salina, OK). The Huskies record now stands at 5-2.

Coming up next, the Ironmen play the Rejoice Christian Eagles (Owasso, OK) in a 2A District 8 battle, on Friday, October 20. Nowata will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 34-0 league win over Vinita (Vinita, OK).
