The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Woodland Cougars (Fairfax, OK) and the host Oklahoma Union Cougars (South Coffeyville, OK), observed Woodland's football squad bounce Oklahoma Union by a count of 52-6.

The Cougars now own a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Morrison for a A District 5 contest on Friday, October 20. Woodland will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 18-7 league win over Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats (Chouteau, OK) in a A District 5 contest, on Friday, October 20. Oklahoma Union will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 46-8 league loss to Pawnee (Pawnee, OK).
