In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Carver High School of Engineering & Science .

The Railsplitters (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Science Leadership Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Science Leadership Academy was tipped by Philadelphia Academy Charter (Philadelphia, PA), 6-5, in a league test.

With the loss, Carver High School of Engineering & Science drops to 10-2 on the season. The travel to Constitution (Philadelphia, PA) to encounter the Generals in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 17. The Generals come into the test with a record of 3-6.
