The South Brunswick Cougars football team (Southport, NC), was beaten 21-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC)
The Screaming Eagle (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Topsail was beaten by Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 38-12, in a non-league challenge.
