The George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) football defeated the host Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA), 40-13 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 19. George Washington will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record.
