The Bennett Clippers football team (Salisbury, MD), was beaten 26-14 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD)

The Buccaneers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Caroline (Ridgely, MD). The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, North Caroline achieved victory over Decatur (Berlin, MD), 21-19, in a non-league challenge.

The Clippers now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Easton for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 18. Bennett will meet a Warriors team coming off a 24-12 non-league loss to Queen Anne's County (Centreville, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 4-5.
