In Thursday's league battle, the host Broadalbin-Perth Patriots soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the South Glens Falls Bulldogs.
The Patriots (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Queensbury (Queensbury, NY). The Spartans come into the Foothills Council- North battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Queensbury nudged Johnstown (Johnstown, NY), 2-1, in a league battle.
