In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Horizon Science Academy Hawks soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the South Bulldogs.
The Hawks (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against New Hope Christian Academy (Circleville, OH). The Statesmen go into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record.
The Bulldogs (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Briggs (Columbus, OH). The Bruins go into the Columbus City - South battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Briggs was nudged by Columbus International (Columbus, OH), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
