In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Loyola Academy Ramblers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Niles Notre Dame Dons.
The Ramblers (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 11-6 record.
The Dons (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 14-8 record. In their last battle, Lincoln Park was nudged by Latin (Chicago, IL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
